Victoria Godoy Marchant

Victoria has focused her professional practice primarily on competition litigation, participating in both contentious and non-contentious proceedings before the Competition Tribunal. She has also represented clients before ordinary and arbitral courts in matters related to unfair competition, consumer class actions, and civil disputes. Furthermore, Victoria has provided legal counsel to clients operating in a wide range of regulated industries, including power generation and power distribution and financial services.  

She has served as a teaching assistant for the Economic Law, Regulatory Law and Commercial Law courses at Universidad Diego Portales since 2020; has participated as an assistant in the postgraduate course on Banking and Savings and Credit Unions Regulation and Supervision for the Research Unit of the Financial Market Commission (CMF); and, has been both a participant and coach in the Competition Law Moot Court litigation contest organized by the Faculty of Law of Universidad del Pacífico (Peru) and the law firm BFE+.

Victoria has been appointed as registrar in several arbitration proceedings before the Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (CAM) of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CCS).

She holds a Law degree from Universidad Diego Portales, a Postgraduate Diploma in Competition Law from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Specialisation Programme in European and Spanish Competition Law at the Real Instituto de Estudios Europeos of Universidad San Pablo, Madrid.
